Both keen joggers and lovers of the beach, Queens Park was the perfect location for its proximity to Centennial Park and the Pacific coast. They had the time and energy to pack their belongings by themselves, but wanted to take advantage of V-Move’s environmentally friendly packing options.
V-Move has plastic moving crates for hire. They reduce waste because they are sturdier than cardboard boxes and won’t break, and between each job we clean and sterilise them so that you get boxes that are almost brand new. We provide a special marker to label them, too. We have packages to suit the size of your house. Jennifer and Craig hired the 2 bedroom package, which included 40 boxes.
40 plastic boxes cost $159 for the first week and $40 for every extra week you need them. We deliver and pick them up when you’re done free of charge. Jennifer and Craig spent two weeks packing, then only needed three men, a truck and a van to move all of their belongings in one go, saving them money for the time it took.

Queens Park is a quiet oasis right in the middle of all of the Eastern Suburbs best offerings. It is just a short walk to the recreation hub of Centennial Park to the west, the shopping mecca of Bondi Junction to the north, the dining options of Randwick to the south, and the popular swimming destination of Bronte to the east. Queens Park is mostly residential with one cafe in Queen’s Park and the majority of services along its border with Waverley on Bronte Road. But everything else is literally a leisurely walk away.
Houses in Queens Park are either Federation or Victorian, and most are single storey, unlike a lot of other areas of Sydney’s east. Streets are tree-lined and the many of the residents’ gardens impress those passing through.
Historically, Queens Park was a part of Bondi Junction and a lot of long term residents still refer to the area as such.
Bordered on its western and southern edges by some of Sydney’s lushest parks, the area is always filled with iconic Australian birdlife, such as cockatoos and kookaburras, lorikeets and other pollen-eating birds. The latter is attracted by the Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub on the northern border of Queen’s Park proper.
