We have been living and working in the Inner West for more than 5 years, when we moved in from Bankstown. As locals, we’d like to make some recommendations of our favourite places.
When we started the business, we were young so of course our favourite spots were in Newtown. One of the best places is Big Daddy’s Burger Bar, where they make American style burgers and the whole bar is full on Americana. Another place we used to go to was Websters bar, but not sure if it is still open, as they changed the name few times already. We also liked Corridor, Cottonmouth Records and Earl’s Juke Joint when we were in the mood for a dark, cosy bar with smashing cocktails.
Later on, we found that spending time in clubs in Newtown wasn’t productive, so we started trying out different places where you can just eat the food. The team agrees that La Disfida in Haberfield is where you get the best pizza and the best dumplings are at the taste of Shanghai in Ashfield. And of course, for fine dining, we recommend One Penny Red in Summer hill.
For parents who are after the childcare we recommend Ashfield Early Learning Centre, where we bring our little one. It is owner-run, so there is some skin in the game, not like in these corporate monstrosities.
For people who are selling and want to increase the value of the property, we recommend Levesons Hire Interiors. It is a family run business and they have been in business for over 30 years.

Please note that our insurance IS NOT COMPREHENSIVE FOR DAMAGES. For comprehensive coverage, consider buying additional insurance at Removals Insurance or call 1300880253. Mention V-move Removals in the “Referred by section” as we receive 10% of the premium.
Besides the standard options, we offer combinations of 4 men and two trucks or more, suitable for large homes, offices, and warehouses. If access is challenging due to low clearances or steep slopes, we recommend using a van and a truck or a ute and a truck.
We also provide pre-packing, unpacking, boxes, storage, and both intrastate and interstate removals. We cover all of NSW and handle interstate relocations to and from ACT, QLD, SA, and VIC.

Operating a truck in Sydney involves costs like fuel, parking, tolls, and maintenance. A flat call-out fee covers these expenses, allowing the truck to reach you safely and punctually. Unlike some removalists, we charge from when we arrive, not when we leave our depot, to avoid any unexpected costs.
To secure your desired date and time, we advise booking two weeks ahead for weekend moves and one week for weekdays. Late bookings may result in unavailability.
We require a $100 deposit for hourly bookings and full payment for fixed-price removals, both non-refundable. Changes to your booking should be made promptly. If changes are not possible or if you cancel after 5 pm the day before, you may lose your deposit or incur a minimum fee.

The call-out and return fee is a set charge to cover travel from the depot to the pickup and back. It’s based on the furthest suburb involved in the move.
