Petersham Case Studies
Edie had to store her items at Kennards in Petersham. She had a 2 bedroom house in Leichhardt to vacate. We spoke to her on the phone about her needs. She had already got cardboard boxes and had packed most of her home.
All she needed was for us to move her boxes, furniture and white goods into the storage unit at Kennards. She booked the loading zone. It was a very easy move that took 3.5 hours. The total cost was $470.
Chrissie’s father passed and left her a grandfather clock and a display cabinet in a nursing home in Ashfield. She decided to donate these to a Church in Petersham but she lived far away and had tow work that day. She wanted a removalist who she could trust to deliver all items without her being in attendance.

We hire out plastic moving boxes at affordable rates with flexible hire options. Order your boxes online and you decide when you are ready to return them. Box hire fees are like subscription fees, they are charged weekly and only when you have them in possession. Save money and time as we deliver them and pick them up for free.
Our plastic packing boxes are waterproof, durable and easy to stack and nest. They have a 50L capacity and can hold heavy items such as kitchenware and books. They are eco-friendly as they are reusable, made from recycled plastic and are food grade.
We also stock cardboard boxes which are best when you are storing long-term or moving interstate. Cardboard boxes are $3 each for the medium size and $3.50 for the large size and can be picked up from our office in Dulwich Hill. We also deliver them for a $40 fee.

Tips For Living In Petersham
Petersham is a great family suburb with old world charm and proximity to the CBD. With its own train station and bus routes it is very easily accessible through public transport.
It’s most famous for its Portuguese eateries: chicken and seafood at Silva’s and Frangos, its bakeries; Sweet Belem, La Patisserie and 27Three Boulangerie, and kebab and takeaway shops.
Its main disadvantages are the same as other parts of the Inner West: noise from being under a flight path, old undermaintained units with cockroaches. We recommend you inspect carefully before buying or renting.
