When Mr. and Mrs. Johnson sold their Paddington home, they called V-Move to move them to their new, smaller house in Bronte. They had a 4 bedroom terraced house that had finally become too big for them to look after. Being elderly and incapable of packing everything by themselves, the couple went with V-Move’s full service package.
The Johnsons hired our environmentally friendly plastic moving crates. These save on waste by being endlessly reusable. We clean and sterilise the boxes between jobs so you get the highest quality of storage solutions. For a 4 bedroom house it costs $249 for 80 boxes. We sent out 4 men and two trucks to the Johnson’s Paddington home and got to work. Our team packed away their belongings in one morning before transporting them to the new house.
When it came to the Johnson’s furniture, some of it would not fit into the new house, so we separated the leftovers and at the end of the move, took the unwanted furniture away to be donated or recycled. By late afternoon, the Johnsons were inside their new house and the plastic boxes were back in our trucks ready to be taken away. The couple were not left with any waste.
