Trevor and Georgia had lived in Centennial Park for thirty years in a big, old house facing the park. They finally decided to sell and downsize to a terrace in Paddington. They called V-Move for a free quote and decided the best way to move was the full packing and moving service.
For the entire 4 bedroom house, Trevor and Georgia ordered the 4 men and 2 trucks deal at $2600 for the entire move including the call out fee. In the morning, the team arrived and started packing. We hire out sturdy plastic moving crates to make sure items are transported safely and to minimise on waste as we reuse the crates after unpacking.
Trevor and Georgia had many bulky items that required our special packing materials to keep safe, as well as other more fragile items that had been in the family for generations. Each item was wrapped and buffered from other items to avoid breaking and damage.
After loading up the trucks and doing two moves, the V-Move team unloaded the trucks and made sure everything was placed inside the correct rooms in the new house. Trevor and Georgia also had a few furniture pieces that wouldn’t fit in the new place and needed disposal. V-Move was on the job. We also offer to remove any unwanted furniture and take it to charity shops or to be recycled properly.
After a long day at the end of the move, Trevor and Georgia were so relieved and happy with the V-Move team that they invited them to a meal. Nothing had been damaged in the move, and they left their old house clean and ready for the new owners.
Later, Trevor and Georgia called V-Move again and bought several cardboard boxes and in them packed some of the leftover items they couldn’t fit in their new home but didn’t want to throw away. We took the boxes to our storage facility.

You can drive around the park in a clockwise direction and the road is shared with many cyclists who use the park as a way to get their kilometres in for the week.
Moore Park includes both the Sydney Cricket Ground and the old Allianz stadium. There are tennis courts and soccer fields, as well as the Moore Park golfing range. It’s also where you will find Fox Studios and the Entertainment Quarter that includes restaurants, bars and a cinema complex. And just on the south-west corner along the Eastern Distributor, the Supa Centre Moore Park has all your home goods retail outlet needs.
Centennial Park is well connected to the rest of Sydney by bus and light rail. Buses run on all of its perimeter to the CBD, Surry Hills, Randwick and Bondi Junction. You’re never far away from the rest of Sydney, but you’re also never far away from the delights of Australian nature and wildlife.
