Nick was moving out from his parents’ house in Leichhardt to his first apartment in Erskineville. He only needed to move his bedroom contents, a few items of furniture from the garage and a fridge that’d bought for his move.
He booked a van since all his things fit there. It was a call out of $50 and an hourly rate of $100 for 2 men and the van. It was very easy as he was fully packed and it was also easy to load from the garage. The whole job only took 2 hours and cost $270 in total.
A small local business on Norton St needed to move a few things into a storage unit in Storage King. Storage King had recommended us.
The customer called us for a quote. After doing a quick inventory we could see that it was just a few items of furniture and some boxes. We recommended a truck and 2 men.
It was difficult to find parking, as the loading zone in the building itself was low and the office was unable to reserve parking for us. Luckily the men knew it would be difficult and so they arrived earlier than the scheduled time to look for parking.
The team managed to park a few 50m from the office. Loading took 2.5 hours because of the distance but the customers were impressed by how the men ferried all the office furniture safely using their trolleys.
