Removalists Birchgrove

In Birchgrove homes tend to be double storey houses with a narrow staircase to go up, so most of the time residents who want to move out have to look for removalists’ help. Since the establishment of our moving business we have moved 3 homes and have done countless deliveries in the area.

John and Aisha, were living Short St for five years, when they decided to buy their own property in the Ponds. Aisha found our ad on the internet,  and called our office.  After a short conversation, she decided to hire our two men and a truck option for her move and ordered 35 cardboard boxes to be delivered to her home. On moving day, the movers started moving her home at 7am and finished just around 3pm with a total bill of $1010.

Due to their age, the Camerons were downsizing and wanted to move to serviced apartments in Dee Why. They called us and said that we were highly recommended by their friend from the church so we decided to inspect their home. After the inspection we agreed on the full service package that included everything except for storage as they wanted to store in Dee Why.

The first stage of the move was to get rid of the unwanted furniture and belongings, Jack sold some items in a garage sale, but most of furniture was donated to the  Salvation Army. The second stage was packing, since Camerons are over 80 years old and their kids live overseas, they asked for our help with this. The day before the move, the packers prepacked 57 plastic moving boxes, which took them only five and a half hours. The next stage was to move the house, the manager decided to use a team of 3 and 2 vehicles: a truck and a van. The move itself was pretty fast, without any dramas, these plastic boxes really saved our precious time at the new apartment building. The last stage was unpacking, which we finished in a few hours, here again our ecofriendly boxes did their job and saved some time.

Susan is a single mother with two teenage boys, she was moving into another house 50 metres away. She got free moving boxes from Facebook marketplace, and decided that she was going to be her own packer and mover. That was until she encountered a three-door wardrobe and double door fridge. Then Susan started looking for removalists in the Inner West. She found us through her friends ‘recommendation, after she filled in our quote form we decided that the best service for her would be 2 men and the van, as she wanted to bring over the light items herself. The movers who helped her took only 1.5h to move the larger items at a total cost of $240 with our minimum charge.
