Hourly rate*
The hourly rate includes the careful wrapping of your furniture and electronic goods, assembly and disassembly of furniture. Prices include GST. We start charging when we reach your home or office until we have delivered the last piece of furniture, appliance or box. There are no hidden charges for moving such as for fuel, stairs or tolls.
Fixed price removal *
Fixed price removal quotes are available upon inspection of your property if you have 3 bedrooms or more or if you are moving interstate or to regional NSW. If you have 2 bedrooms or less, rates are charged hourly.
- Discounted Box Policy
Discounted boxes are only available if you book removalists 1 week prior to the moving date. Box deliveries and pick ups are Tuesdays to Fridays only. Deliveries can be any time between 7am and 5pm. A more exact time frame will be arranged the day prior but it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive boxes all day on the requested delivery day.
How it works
Customers that book a bundled service such as removals with prepacking and unpacking, and/or storage are entitled to free boxes for the whole storage or packing, moving and unpacking period. Customers who are booking a moving service only can rent plastic boxes at $4 each for the first week.
Need the boxes for longer?
If you need boxes for longer than 1 week, we will charge the card used for the booking deposit at a rate of $2 per box per week plus card surcharges (2% for Visa and Mastercard, 3% for Amex).

INTERSTATE & REGIONAL REMOVALS
Moving Within NSW
We have moved customers from Sydney to Wollongong, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, and the Hunter region. Our experience has shows us that your moving budget and expenditure can be significantly reduced by planning it and scheduling it efficiently. For regional NSW moves, we charge hourly until the return to Sydney. This means there are a lot of things that you can do to make the most of your time and money. Organizing and sorting your belongings before scheduling an inspection or a moving service with the removalist team can ensure that the fixed quote is within your budget or help us minimize work and get the job done quickly.

Our Certificate of Currency for public liability insurance is available once a booking with V-move Removals is complete. Simply request a copy of the certificate by replying to the Booking Confirmation email which you received when you booked us.
Our insurance IS NOT COMPREHENSIVE FOR DAMAGES. For increased cover, we highly recommend purchasing additional insurance here: https://www.removalsinsurance.com.au/ or over the phone 1300880253.
Please put V-move Removals in the “Referred by section”. As per our contract with CARTS, we receive 10% of the premium.
As well as the combinations above, we also offer combinations of 4 men and 2 trucks or more, which recommend for 4+ bedroom homes and large offices and warehouses. If you have tricky access where a truck may not fit, such as low height clearances, parking on a steep slope or driveway, we recommend a van and a truck or a ute and a truck.
We also offer pre-packing, unpacking, boxes, storage, intrastate and interstate removals. We service all of NSW and do interstate moves to and from the ACT, QLD, SA and VIC.
To get a fixed quote, please call us or complete our Quotation form with as much detail as possible providing access details and a full inventory of furniture, appliances, boxes and small items. We can provide written fixed quotes via email from studios to 3-bedroom homes without an onsite inspection, though conditions do apply.
Fixed quote inspections for 4+ bedroom homes, interstate and regional NSW moves are available upon request. In order to provide you with a fixed quote, we will need to visit your home and make a quick inspection. The quote is at no cost and obligation-free. We take a deposit of $100 for hourly rate bookings and the full price before moving day for fixed price removals. This deposit is non-refundable, so please make your booking carefully.
Any changes to a booking should be made as soon as possible. If you cancel or make changes to a booking and we cannot accommodate the change (e.g. a change in time, date or the service booked), we may keep the deposit and refuse the service if we are unavailable.
Please ensure you have confirmed cancellation by 5pm of the day prior to the booking. Any cancellations made after this time will incur the minimum fee booking as per our Terms and Conditions.
Prices start from $190 hourly for a 25cbm truck, $270 hourly for a 4 5cbm truck. Do not hesitate to call us on 02 7201 9397 or write to us at [email protected] if you have more questions.
The call-out and return to base fee is a fixed fee to cover the truck and removalists’ travel costs from the depot to the pickup address and from the delivery address back to the depot. The applicable fee is based on the furthest suburb, e.g. if moving from Annandale (no call out) to Castle Hill (1 hour), the half hour call out fee will be 1 hour.
