Four men and two trucks are ideal when you are moving a 4+ bedroom home. Having four men load and unload simultaneously can ensure that the move happens in 1 trip and reduces the time it takes to finish the entire move.
Careful Movers
Two crews work best when there are two access points, for example, the front entrance and through the backyard or side gate. Then one team can pack the furniture and boxes from the front of the house while the other team works from behind without getting in each other’s way.
A Complete Removals Service
Some customers with large homes may choose a large truck and 3 men because they are attracted to the lower rate. However, this often takes much longer as it is quicker for 2 team to load 2 different trucks than it is for 3 men to have to compete for space while packing one truck.

What's included?
The trucks themselves are fully equipped with straps, tools, dollies, trolleys, stretch wrap and blankets. As for the services, apart from packing, loading and unloading, we also include disassembly and reassembly of furniture, installation of appliances and furniture wrapping.
We do not have additional charges such as stairs, fuel or tolls as these are already built into our call out plus hourly rate structure.

When do you need 4 men and 2 trucks?
Four men and 2 trucks are needed when:
- You are moving more then 45 cubic metres of household goods. (The large truck fits 45cbm whereas 2 trucks can fit much more depending on the combination of trucks)
- You have more than 1 access point and efficiency is increased when 2 teams are loading at different entrances.
- You have very difficult access such as outdoor stairs and a small team is likely to get tired very quickly.
- You have a strict deadline for your move such as settlement, picking up children, etc.
- You have booked a full service in a short timeframe (packing, removals and unpacking) and having more removalists/packers ensures that the move happens within a day or 2 days.

The hourly rate includes the careful wrapping of your furniture and electronic goods, assembly and disassembly of furniture. Prices include GST. We start charging when we reach your home or office until we have delivered the last piece of furniture, appliance or box. There are no hidden charges for moving such as for fuel, stairs or tolls.
Fixed price removal *
Fixed price removal quotes are available upon inspection of your property if you have 3 bedrooms or more or if you are moving interstate or to regional NSW. If you have 2 bedrooms or less, rates are charged hourly.

Our rates and services for 4 men and 2 trucks depend on the types of trucks books. Customers that use this service usually have a 4 bedroom house or larger or are booking an office with more than 8 people.
With the 4-man and 2-truck service, a 4-bedroom home usually takes around 5-10 hours to move with a cost of around $1,500 to $3,000. 5 bedroom and 6-bedroom homes often also have similar ranges of 6-12 hours but if a home is very large with many items we would recommend 6 men and 3 trucks or more.

The cost of packing a house depends on how much packing material and how long it takes for professional packers to wrap and pack the items. As for the question “how long does it take to pack a house?” you may as well ask how long is a piece of string?
Prices vary a lot from the size of the home (studio to a 5-bedroom), the type of home contents (a lot of porcelain, glassware or alcohol or items that can be packed quickly (toys, linen cupboards).
In terms of packing entire contents into boxes and also packing furniture into a truck here are our averages based on times and hourly rates for 2-4 people:

Removalists can pack all your home contents into boxes as our removalists are packers too! However, we only recommend this option if only 1 room and a few items have to be packed on moving day.
If you need all your home contents packed in boxes, we highly recommend booking our specialist packers the day before moving day. Moving day is stressful enough, it’s best to start with the whole house ready to go!
Not only that, our specialist packers are a highly experienced trained team that will wrap all your fragile items and ensure nothing gets dirty or breaks. They will prepare a detailed list which will make it much easier for you to unpack.
Removalists dismantle and even reassemble furniture. Not only is this included in our standard hourly rate, it is the best option for most customers.
Removalists have all the tools they need to pull apart and assemble furniture and they are usually more efficient than customers are. Usually, the removalists must dismantle furniture to get it through the door and so they do this on a nearly daily basis.
Some customers may decide to dismantle furniture themselves to save time and money on the hourly fees. This isn’t always the best way as sometimes they will accidentally pack parts away and have a harder time reassembling furniture.
Also, if you have a choice of getting the professionals to do it, better and faster, why wouldn’t you?
Please make your booking carefully. Any changes to the booking must be made 48 hours before the move or earlier. Any rebookings within 48 hours of the move will incur a $100 rebooking fee which must be paid before the move.
The latest cancellation is before 5pm the business day before your move. A further cancellation fee covering our minimum booking will apply if you cancel later than this.
We reserve the right to refuse service for repeated cancellations and rebookings.
We charge a half hour, 1 hour or 1.5 hour call out depending on suburb. We work Mondays to Saturdays and our hourly rates start from $190 for the smallest truck ranging to $300 for the largest truck. The call-out and return to base fee is a fixed fee to cover the truck and removalists’ travel costs from the depot to the pickup address and from the delivery address back to the depot. The applicable fee is based on the furthest suburb, e.g. if moving from Enmore to Mt Colah the applicable call out is Mt Colah.
